倍加福SLC安全光幕包括了一個(gè)發(fā)射器和一個(gè)接收器。每套設(shè)備都是一個(gè)帶有自監(jiān)控的光電安全設(shè)備，滿足EN 945-1或EN 61496的4級(jí)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。紅外的保護(hù)光束有以下幾種光束間距： 14 mm, 30 mm, 60 mm和90 mm。感應(yīng)范圍zui遠(yuǎn)可達(dá)15 m，保護(hù)高度zui高可達(dá)1800 mm。所有的特性，如啟動(dòng)/重啟互鎖，都整合在了SLC安全光幕的接收器內(nèi)。

發(fā)射器和接收器之間不需要連接。附加上基本的單發(fā)射和接收模塊，SLC安全光幕可以進(jìn)入主/從模式，此時(shí)zui多可包括2個(gè)從模塊，組成3個(gè)互相獨(dú)立的光幕段。這種方式可以提供多個(gè)平面的保護(hù)（水平，垂直或傾斜的），并且每個(gè)段可以有不同的分辨率。安全輸出（OSSD）信號(hào)位于接收器內(nèi)。它們都帶有獨(dú)立電氣輸出的自動(dòng)防故障裝置，繼電器輸出型帶有常開的觸點(diǎn)。還可以使用反射鏡進(jìn)行周界或多平面的保護(hù)。

SLC系列安全光幕可用在各種有潛在危險(xiǎn)發(fā)生的地方，比如它可用于周界的警戒，區(qū)域的警戒和機(jī)器（操作點(diǎn)）的警戒等。一個(gè)垂直或水平的SLC光幕確保了不能觸及光幕的下方和上方。
